Officials in Panama City Beach said at least two people were seriously injured when a line holding a parasail snapped Monday.
The News Herald said witnesses reported seeing two girls in a tandem harness when strong winds snapped a line connecting them to a boat and sent them crashing into the side of a condominium building.
Witnesses also told the newspaper after striking the building; the two girls were carried into a power line before falling onto several vehicles in a parking lot.
The newspaper reported the impact caved in the roof and front windshield of an SUV. Both girls are in the hospital in serious condition.
